Terms and Conditions for BUBI

Welcome to BUBI! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of BUBI (“the App”), an educational mobile application designed to help children learn the Albanian language through interactive games. By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

  1. Overview of BUBI

BUBI is a mobile application available for both Android and iOS platforms. The App allows children to learn the Albanian language through engaging and fun games. In addition to educational features, BUBI offers the ability to save and share creative designs made during gameplay.

  1. Account Creation and Data Collection

To use BUBI, users must create an account. The following information is collected during account creation and profile setup:

  • Email Address: Required for account registration and login purposes.
  • Password: Used for secure account access.
  • Profile Information: To personalize the experience, we collect information about the child, including:
    • Name
    • Gender
    • Age
    • Location (general region or country)

This data is collected temporarily and is used to customize the learning experience for each user.

  1. Game Progress Tracking

BUBI tracks the user’s progress in the educational games to ensure that children can continue where they left off and to monitor their learning achievements. This information is stored temporarily and is used solely for enhancing the user experience.

  1. Subscription and In-App Purchases

Subscriptions and in-app purchases for BUBI are handled exclusively through the Google Play Store (for Android) and Apple App Store (for iOS). BUBI does not directly manage or interfere with payment processing. All subscription terms, including renewal and cancellation, are governed by the respective app store policies.

  1. Access to Device Features

BUBI requests access to certain features of your device to enhance the gameplay experience:

  • Gallery Access: To save and share designs created within the app, BUBI requires access to your device’s photo gallery.
  • Microphone and Camera Access: These features are required for certain in-app activities, such as recording audio or taking photos for personalization purposes.
  • Files and Downloads Access: This access is required to allow users to store creative works and retrieve files for educational activities.

By granting these permissions, you agree that BUBI may access these features of your device to provide the full functionality of the app.

  1. Data Backups and Retention

We ensure that all user data, including game progress, profile information, and other associated data, is regularly backed up to prevent data loss. Backups are stored securely and are used only to restore user data in case of app malfunction or user-initiated restoration. BUBI retains the user’s account information and game progress even after the App is deleted from the device, unless the user specifically requests account deactivation (see Section 7).

  1. Account Deactivation and Data Deletion

If you decide to stop using BUBI, uninstalling the app from your device will not automatically delete your account or personal information. Your account and data will remain intact and can be accessed if you reinstall the app.

If you wish to permanently deactivate your account, you can do so by contacting us at [Insert Contact Information]. Upon deactivation:

  • All personal data (such as email, password, and profile information) will be permanently deleted from our servers.
  • Game progress and associated data will no longer be accessible.
  • Backups associated with the account will be deleted as well.

BUBI is provided “as is” without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, secure, or continuously available. In no event shall BUBI or its creators be liable for any damages arising from the use of the App.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Your continued use of BUBI after any such modifications indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
